Our Thermal Spray Coating Service
Thermal Spray is a process in which coating material is heated and accelerated from a spray torch towards the work area of a substrate. The deposited material forms a coating on the surface to impart properties unobtainable by base metal selection alone. Coating material include metals, alloys, carbides, ceramics, plastics, cermets and special composites combinations of the above.
While the Thermal spray process involves high levels of thermal and kinetic energies, it imparts very little heat to the substrate , less than 150oC , thereby avoiding metallurgical change and distortion. Low temperature and high bond strength is central to the versatile application of the process.
No other technology offers such versatility. The thermal Spray process offers industrial design engineers maximum flexibility from practically unlimited selection of materials the high degree of control of other variables.
